Job Positions Available

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc., an affiliate of Aegis Security Insurance Company, is seeking a full-time Account Manager to join its National Accounts team. This position is remote and will require 25% and up to 40% travel.

Position Description
The Account Manager’s primary goal is to maximize sales within Aegis General Agency and it’s affiliates by building and maintaining strong relationships through the national account team’s distribution partners.

Responsibilities
• Managing growth and profitability for shared accounts.
• Establish and monitor performance objectives of shared accounts.
• Increasing brand awareness of Aegis and its product offerings to increase quote activity.
• Coordinate training, onboarding, and activation of account’s distribution partners.
• Regular communication with accounts, to include monthly account review calls.
• Communicate consistent account updates to Aegis management.
• Coordinate field visits, as necessary, between accounts and marketing/product leadership.
• Identify new growth opportunities with each account.
• Obtain marketing / competitor intelligence.
• Understand and professionally communicate Aegis’s product portfolio features, benefits, and competitive advantages to assigned accounts.
• Serve as project manager (liaison) between assigned accounts and Aegis operations, as appropriate.
• Travel will vary between 25% and up to 40% . Travel may include; meetings with national accounts, relevant industry conferences, professional association meetings, and other networking events.

Qualifications
• Energetic, entrepreneurial, opportunistic, and able to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Risk Management or similar major.
• 3+ years’ experience in insurance sales, insurance services, or business-to-business account management.
• P&C insurance license, CPCU, CIC or other relevant insurance industry designations preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Excellent verbal / written communication, organization, and follow up skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

PRODUCT ANALYST

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc., an affiliate of Aegis Security Insurance Company, is seeking a full-time Product Analyst to join its Product Development team. This position will be based at our Cincinnati, OH or Harrisburg, PA office with the potential to work remotely. This position is newly created due to business growth.

This Product Analyst position is a new, full-time position reporting to our VP of Core Products. A Senior Analyst role may be considered depending on level of relevant experience.

Position Description
The Product Analyst’s primary objective is to support the implementation of new or revised insurance programs by compiling, reviewing and sharing data on our programs, researching our competitive and regulatory environment, and confirming the accuracy of our internal and external policy administrative systems.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for testing new and revised products (rate, rule, forms, output) in multiple carrier and agency policy administration systems.
• Key contact for external partners (Agents, Vendors, Consultants).
• Provide support to product managers by producing and reviewing data, test case preparation, marketplace and compliance review, and other program filing activities as needed.
• Develop and monitor implementation plans and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze product rate levels and underwriting practices to ensure long-term profitability for the company.
• Analyze and report on financial results both on a regular and ad hoc basis. Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports and data queries from our multiple system platforms.
• Interact with internal and external contacts to ensure program revisions are implemented compliantly, accurately and timely.
• Assist in the financial review of new initiatives (product, marketing, IT).
• Complete other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, IT, Statistics, or similar major and or commensurate
experience in product development either in a carrier or MGA environment.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (ex: can program complex formulas, use pivot tables, and manipulate data to achieve goals).
• Very high level of attention to detail and able to produce an accurate work product.
• Organized – can keep a number of different initiatives moving forward simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Can pro-actively convey technical details in an understandable manner to different audiences.
• Enjoys numbers, data, and digging into details to get answers.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading the implementation of new insurance programs or updates.
• Able to travel several times a year/as needed to Aegis / K2 locations or key agency partners.
• Personal Property / E&S experience is a plus.
• Insurance industry designation a plus (CPCU, CIC, etc.).

UNDERWRITER/SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc. (AGIA), an affiliate of Aegis Security Insurance Company and subsidiary of Aegis Security, Inc., is seeking a full-time Underwriter/Support Representative to join its Underwriting team at its Harrisburg, PA office.

Underwriter/Support Representative activities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze and process paper and electronic applications for insurance.
• Process endorsements and renewals for insurance policies.
• Provide customer service, including payments for internal and external customers.
• Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media.
• Provide feedback to management for system and program enhancements.
• Meet production and service level standards.

Qualifications
• High school diploma. Post-high school education a plus, but not required.
• At least 2 years’ work experience in customer service, with P&C insurance license a plus but not required.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
• A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
• Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
• Empathetic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view.
• Strong MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and Access or similar database software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

AGENCY EXPERIENCE REPRESENTATIVE

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc., is seeking a full-time Agency Experience Representative to join its Marketing team. This position will be based in Harrisburg, PA.

Position Description
The Agency Experience Representative’s primary goal is to maximize sales of Aegis insurance products by building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple distribution points across the country.

Responsibilities
• Motivate newly appointed and long-time retail producers to achieve desired growth and profitability targets by increasing brand awareness of Aegis and of its product offerings.
• Prospect, identify, and on-board high potential distribution partners.
• Expand an existing pipeline of potential opportunities with new and existing distribution partners.
• Collaborate with internal resources to efficiently handle impediments to profitable growth.
• Effectively communicate Aegis product features, benefits, and competitive advantages in a professional manner.
• Gather and analyze competitor data and market intelligence to support product innovation recommendations.
• Support Marketing Team as appropriate, including occasional travel for targeted events.

MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc., is seeking a full-time Marketing Representative to join its Marketing team. This position will be based in Arizona.

Position Description
The Marketing Representative’s primary goal is to maximize sales of Aegis insurance products by building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple distribution channels in his/her assigned region.

Responsibilities
• Manage retail producer distribution channel in the southwest, for growth and profitability while increasing brand awareness of Aegis and of its product offerings.
• Identify, meet with, and on-board high potential distribution partners in the assigned territory.
• Build and solidify a pipeline of new opportunities with new and existing distribution partners.
• Collaborate with internal resources to efficiently overcome impediments to profitable growth.
• Understand and effectively communicate Aegis product features, benefits, and competitive advantages in a professional manner to assigned accounts.
• Gather competitor data and market intelligence to support product recommendations.
• Serve as liaison between distribution partners and internal contracting team to successfully activate new relationships and coordinate appropriate training for new and existing distribution partners.
• Network within the industry to increase Aegis visibility, including attendance at relevant insurance industry conferences, professional association meetings, and other networking events.
• Support Marketing Team as appropriate, including travel outside of designated territory to facilitate activation of new/existing distribution.
